Our group of three self-catering adults enjoyed the well- equipped kitchen and comfortable dining area. The apartment was quiet, warm and cosy, and books, games and DVD player were all welcome. There are food shops in both directions about 15 min walk away.
We decided not to get a car and found this fine. The apartment is very close to bus stops going up and down the valley - with timetables and in no particular hurry we found it easy to rely on buses to get around the various ski areas and into Chamonix.
The nearby hotel (Le Vert) has a bar and restaurant, but we preferred places nearer to Chamonix Sud- a 15 min walk or 5 min bus ride. The train station is only 10 min walk away too.
Underground parking looks great if you are driving. An very comfortable place to stay - I think you'd want a car if you had children with you or if walking/taking buses doesn't suit you. more
