I really enjoyed my stay at this apartment, it's quirky, cool and perfect as a base-camp for exploring Barcelona. It is in an amazing location, 2 minutes from las Ramblas, 20 minutes from the beach and right in the centre of town. It is also right next to a beautiful large square which is full of good restaurants. The best part is the roof terrace which is huge and has views right over Barcelona (including the top of Gaudi's sagrada familia and a beautiful cathedral). When we were at the apartment we spent most of our time on the terrace, eating breakfast and watching the view. It is also really good value for money (costing us the same as a hostel would have done), particularly considering the location.
The only thing to note is as you can see by the photos, the apartment is very basic - it has a curtain for a door to the bathroom and a simple gas stove for cooking. I wouldn't recommend it If you are planning to cook lots of meals or spend a lot of time inside. It is also up... more
