We were 5 adults and 1 child travelling Italy and stayed at Villa Caruso for 9 days. At our arrival in Sorrento, Mario, the landlord, promptly answer our phone calls and drove us to the property. He was absolutely a pleasure to deal with. As he lives nearby he was always available to help us.
Villa Caruso has a good location in Sorrento. We rented a big car and it was still ok to park it around 300m from the house. However I strongly advise you to NOT rent a big car to visit the Amalfi coast, the roads are very narrow and it is very difficult to find parking spaces.
The most striking thing about Villa Caruso is the view. You overlook the Bay of Naples and the Vesuvio. We spent the New Years Eve there (on the balcony) the fireworks were magnificent. We love it.
All the amenities worked perfectly in the house. Very good central heating and hot water (we stayed in there at winter time) the house was very clean and it has a beautiful garden. The 2 bedrooms face the garden... more
