    Additional Location Information
Via Monte di Dio is a famous street in Naples in Santa Lucia district which is located on the Northern slope of Pizzofalcone hill (Mount Echia for Greeks). Here is located the famous Serra di Cassano Palace, dating back to the 18th Century and representing the typical example of Naples baroque architecture. The Palace is well known because of a sad but fascinating story which took place during the 18th Century Neapolitan Republic and it is nowadays the seat of the Institute for Philosophic studies. On the top of the hill, along this street, is also located the Military Academy "Nunziatella".
Ths hill is located between the Greek-Roman historical center and the chic area of Chiaia, hence at a few steps from Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, San Carlo Theatre, Via Toledo and the Spanish District, Piazza dei Martiri, Via Chiaia and Chiaia Riviera.
