It would be hard to suggest a more optimal launching pad for a visit to Rome than the small winding streets west of Piazza Navona. The area is packed with restaurants and bars that cater to Romans as well as tourists and is an easy 15 min walk from the Vatican, 15 min from Piazza Venezia and the shopping along Via del Corso and about 25 minutes from the Colosseum.
Fabri's luxurious 2 floor apartment in this neighbourhood was clean & affordable with all the amenities you would need for a comfortable stay. A grocery store is 2 minutes away on the same street and after a busy day of sightseeing, we didn't feel the need to stray out of this area for dinner as there were so many great choices just outside our door.
