From the moment we were shown the apartment by our friendly host we knew we had chosen our holiday accommodation wisely. The apartment is spacious, elegantly styled and with all the equipment you might need for day to day holidaying. For us, finding out what lies behind those wooden doors in the narrow streets of European cities was a thrill.
We spent 8 days in Padova not really having planned excursions before we arrived apart from the obligatory coffee/glass(es) of wine supped whilst sitting in the market place watching the world go by. There is plenty of good information in the apartment about the city and region and (luckily for us) plenty of Piazzas in the locality to drink, eat and just relax. The local tourist office is also very helpful.
If you like architecture, art, italian cuisine, walking, markets, warm sunshine and friendly people, this is the place to go. It is also an excellent location from which to visit Venice, Verona, Lake Garda and even Milan... more
