Al Mennucci was originally an old hayloft, which has recently been converted into a delightful cottage. It is located in a superb position, high in the hills, 15kms to the south east of Lucca, and surrounded by olive groves and pine trees. There are fantastic views over the countryside and the plain of Montecatini in the distance. Just 9 kms from the nearest motorway exit, it is also a perfect base for exploring the main Tuscan towns.

Both the house and the pretty garden are exceptionally well maintained by the owners, and the interiors are equipped with all modern facilities. The swimming pool, situated to one side of the house, is in perfect position to enjoy the beautiful views. Close to the pool area there is a stone built barbecue and pizza oven, an outdoor shower and an outdoor dining area. Near the driveway, about twenty meters from the house, there is a small guesthouse with a double bedroom and bathroom.

The property is ideal for those looking for peace and tranquillity. The one kilometre unsealed road is not suitable for very low sports cars.

DISTANCES: Colle di Compito (nearest village with shops and PO) is 2.5kms, S. Leonardo in Treponzio (nearest supermarket)is 4.5kms, Lucca is 15kms, Capannori (nearest motorway exit) is 9kms and the Pisa Airport is 35kms.
