The home is a beautiful, restored Tuscan country home set in the vineyards (the pictures are for real). Comfortable beds, great kitchen, scenic outdoor eating areas. Wonderful for slow summer evenings of fresco dinning. Our stay was in the fall, which was perfect for weather and the crowds were far less in the surrounding ancient walled cities.
The owners are very friendly, gracious and helpful with information and translation if needed. Highly recommend the dinner. Piero, the owner/chef and his wife, presented us with a wonderful Tuscan dinner on our arrival. One word of caution, the name of the villa is not the real name. Booking agents use a different name so they do not get under cut. Believe Piero when you call him for final key hand off!! Funny story behind this........ more
