A beautiful and lovingly renovated one bedroom Cottage which was once the Old Bakery for the village and dates back to the 1700's. You enter through the garden gate onto a small cobbled patio area, which catches the afternoon and evening sun where you may simply relax, after a long day exploring what the Peak District has to offer.

Inside you will receive a warm welcome with the log burning stove and stone flagged floor in the living/kitchen area. There are 2 seatees, flat screen tv with freesat and DVD player. The kitchen area is well equipped with cooker, microwave, small fridge (there is a larger fridge/freezer in the summer house to the rear of the cottage) and general cooking utensils. A beautiful cottage with a high quality finish. Perfect for our romantic break. This cottage is set in a beautiful location within easy access to many areas of outstanding beauty. We were blessed with the weather but will definitely return to this idyllic cottage in winter to enjoy the log burning stove. more

Its location is ideal for exploring the peak district. The Pack Horse in Crowdecote and Royal Oak in Hurdlow serve very good food and are both dog friendly.... more
