To write a line in brief in the beginning, this was an excellent choice for my 6-day stay in Amsterdam, ideal for both activities I was there for, a conference and Amsterdam sightseeing.
It is a very nice apartment studio, a nice walking distance to the very center of Amsterdam. It is actually in the edge of the center. The district is De Pijp, a nice residential area, very close to Europe's probably largest daily street market; Albert Cuypmarkt, where i had the best ever raw herring sandwich, and walked along stalls selling a wide variety and activity. The immediate vicinity of the building is a quiet residential area, with no significant commercial activities, a more than enough supermarket a stone throw away, 2 canals are a block away. little farther ethnic restaurants abound. The very center of Amsterdam is a nice walk through nice old streets, canals and green areas.
