Description:
The Aldebaran was built in 1893 in Geertruidenberg as a two-mast river clipper. The ship transported freight in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium until 1940. In 1954 it was fitted with an engine. In 1991 the owners Willem van Gelderen and Moniek van der Werff have renovated the Aldebaran, in a traditional style combined with an atmospheric, comfortable interior.
The deck is easily accessible with a safe and spacious seating area. The kitchen is tasteful and well equipped. The welcoming crew will try to make every stay unforgettable by fulfilling their guests' wishes. During your stay the ship will be anchored in the Leuvehaven harbour of Rotterdam.
