We stayed at the end of October and the apartment was very central, a short stroll from the Grand Place, tastefully furnished, light and spacious. Unfortunately because it's on a main road the police sirens right outside kept us awake through the night. There are lots of beggars sleeping rough on the pavement outside. The curtains in the kids bedroom were so thin that they kept no light out and the water pressure is so awful that even running a bath takes 40mins and a shower is impossible. The lights in the kitchen didn't work. There was no way to light the gas hob and no matches left. We reserved car parking directly with apartments apart and yet were told none was available when we arrived. Luckily just across the street is secure underground parking at half the price we were quoted. Don't know why they didn't just suggest this when booking!
It was great to be able to walk so easily to all tourist spots and restaurants but we slept badly and found it hard work to get washed... more
