    This cozy and charming apartment is located in the lively and trendy Bairro Alto in a building dating from the eighteenth century. Here you can really feel at home, the apartment contains some of the owner´s personal items such as Cd's and DVD´s collections and even a piano. The street is quite busy, but with the double glasses on the windows you won´t hear any noise coming from the outside. The brightness of the apartment is due to the light entering at this 3rd floor stressing its colors. Views of the Castle of Sao Jorge, Lisbon´s roofs and Tagus River. Fully equipped kitchen, ready to cook home made meals. Towels and linens at your disposal are included in the price and wireless internet as well.

Location was good and that's about it. The photos must have been taken years ago - not as pictured.
Communicated with Renato beforehand and arranged to call when we left airport so they would meet us at the apartment door. Didn't want to wait outside in January after traveling for 20 hours. Whoever answered my call told me to call back when we got to the apt and we had to wait there for 10+ minutes, in the cold, with all our bags.
Apartment is very cold and space heaters totally inadequate. Barely gave off any heat and one was broken and taped up. There was a big propane heater but nobody told us how to use is, so we were freezing the whole time. Bathtub was disgusting. Many things were broken - kitchen tap, bathroom tap, bathroom door handle. No hairdrier or "amenities" as described. We barely had enough toilet paper for two nights. Filthy throw pillows as decor, stains on blankets. Why not just replace these?! There were flies everywhere. Kitchen table was dirty...
