We were in Lisbon for a 4 night break first week of June, our flight didn't arrive until after midnight but Vitaliano was fine with meeting us at the apartment so late. Very helpful, left us a lovely welcome drink too. The apartment itself is great, even better than expected, really nicely furnished and equipped with everything we needed. Shower was good and powerful which is always a bonus.
We thought the location was great, 5 minute walk to a metro stop to get all over town. There was a cafe, pharmacy and grocery shop just down the road and if you leave through the car park there is a really nice restaurant right nearby. And with the area not being very touristy we found it was cheaper than other areas in town.
It is a residential area, good for getting a quiet nights sleep (apart from there was a dog howling itself to sleep outside the window a couple of times!) but if you fancy a few drinks definitely head to Barrio Alto, only a couple of stops on the metro and... more
