This unique residence is one building split into two identical halves by a thick stone wall. Each accommodation has an independent entrance, its own small private swimming pool [20 m2, 1.6-1.8m deep], a barbecue, and beautiful garden area. The master bedrooms of both apartments have a veranda with an outdoor Jacuzzi. Behind the villa is shared parking for three cars. The view from the residences look down to the village of Agia Pelagia, a sweeping sandy beach, and typical tavernas.

Ground Floor: Entering the villa, you will find yourself in a sitting room with some very comfy couches, satellite TV, a fireplace, table for four, and a large panoramic window. This room also has an open-plan kitchenette equipped with a cook-top, oven, microwave, coffee machine, and teapot. The kitchenette lets out onto a veranda with a breakfast table and a wonderful view. This floor also has a WC with sink and toilet.
First Floor: A steep wooden staircase [almost a ladder] leads to the first floor, where you will find the master bedroom. This room includes a 155 cm small queen-size bed, satellite TV, and an en suite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. There is also a veranda with an outdoor Jacuzzi with a view.
Lower Ground Floor: Downstairs from the ground floor, at the level of the pool, there is a second bedroom with two 95 cm wide twin beds and satellite TV. This room also has an en suite bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower. This level also has a small laundry room with a washing machine and ironing equipment.

This villa is within walking distance of the secluded bay of Lygaria, where you will find a sandy beach within a protected cove. The village of Agia Pelagia is the nearest town with a range of shops and restaurants, and is a short drive downhill from this villa. Here a narrow beach circles the bay, lined with tavernas serving local dishes. There are also many shops within the town, as well as an internet cafe, an ATM, and a supermarket. You can take a bus or drive to the Palace of Knossos [near Heraklion]. Interesting local villages include Rogdia [including the Monastery of Savathiana], Achlada, and Fodele [the birthplace of El Greco].
