The Bjørvka Apartments are a very good place to stay when visiting Oslo for several days or more. The apartments are conveniently located near the railway station and the central bus station. There are a number of small bars, restaurants, grocery store (next door to the building), and other shops within a 5 minute walk. The area is fine during the day and into the 10-11:PM but after that it gets a bit sketchy. The building was secure.
When I first went to the apartments, I was met by one of the mangers. She showed me around the apartment, and turned on everything to show me how they worked and double testing that everything was in excellent working condition.
The apartments are a nice size and fully equipped. There is a fair amount of closet space and they have a washing machine in the flat. The kitchen was modern and everything worked well.
