My wife and I stayed here last July (now 2/14) with our 13 year old son and our dog.
The garden was meant to be enclosed buy the metal gates post (to the side of the property leading to the back garden) was out of the ground and at least one or more of the wooden fence posts leading to next door were rotten and had fallen over into the bushes. I had to spend time trying to stabilise the metal gate with what few bits of string and ribbon we could find (tying the metal post into the main fence). I cleared out the post hole with spoons as digging implements so that (a number of days later), someone could pour some concrete in to fix the post in situ. We just tried to prop up some on the rotten wooden fence posts, and so had to supervise the dog constantly when in the garden to ensure she did not get out.
The ground floor is open plan and the bedroom and toilet are situated on the mezzanine type first floor above, overlooking the ground floor.
