    Property description
    Holiday Rental House –
    3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 6
A Corner of Paradise... relax and enjoy the Mas experience!

The Mas is a 14C-origin, stone-built hamlet of four households, deep in the French countryside of the Gard - Provence’s western neighbour, across the Rhone valley.

1.5kms up a single-track road from the nearby village, on a raised bluff, it offers the perfect peace, quiet and calm that will call you back again and again. Charmingly built and tastefully restored, with a vine-shaded, south-facing terrace on which to wind down, read, relax and dine.

The main rental property lies up the front steps, via the porch on the western side. The rustic building has been tastefully decorated in the traditional style… with some nice added touches! The raised position gives lovely countryside views from the terrace. Its rustic charm perfect...

5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 September 2012 for a stay in August 2012

The place is really quite large for four people. With six people you can also easily spend time there, because there are two bathrooms, two toilets and a large kitchen. Having two fridges was also useful in August, because it was 30-34 degrees every day. One of the three bedrooms has limited privacy, the other two have normal privacy.

All four of us liked the place a lot and we would return if we wanted to be in the area again.

You might hear other people living in the other places in the mas, sitting outside and talking in the evening, but they were never loud.

The nearest bakery is a 6-minute drive over a narrow road. We didn't like the normal baguette that much, but the version called pain pailasse was an excellent replacement. The croissants, and actually everything with filo pastry was very good at the bakery. Next to the bakery is a convenience store with a limited selection of meat, vegetables, and various other food supplies. The big supermarkets...
