Kings House is a historic Grade II listed townhouse which has been furnished to a high standard throughout and offers guests a large 6 double bedroom self catering property with lots of living space as well. Guests can easily walk to the beach or the town and a 5 star Hotel Spa facility is only a couple of minutes' away.

The house has offered a perfect setting for many extended families wishing to holiday together alongside numerous birthday and anniversary celebrations or simply groups of friends reuniting for a weekend break. With 2 lounges, a reading room and a dining room there's always plenty of space to relax in.

A huge house, with five different reception areas to hang out in, and six very comfortable bedrooms. The kitchen was a great place to congregate. The location is perfect, up on the esplanade, near South Cliff. The furnishing is very appropriate, comfy without being too fussy. Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us such a nice review of the house. Just for the purposes of accuracy there are 3 internal flights of steps (one albeit with a return which makes it seem like 4!). It is a 4 storey house and would not be suitable for an infirm person though we have... more

The pictures don't do this house justice, it's a great place to stay in walking distance to the beach. There was plenty of room for everyone - there was 12 of us and it was great!! Would definitely recommend. more

Rented Kings House for a long weekend to celebrate an 80th birthday. 3 Generations (5 couples) came together for a relaxing weekend in Scarborough. Kings House was fantastic and ideal for our trip. Relaxing breakfasts, celebration meal with plenty of space for everyone. more

Scarborough, North Yorkshire can be reached by road nationally from the A1 or M1 which both run close to Leeds in West Yorkshire. The A64 from Leeds then runs directly to Scarborough. There are good road links from the A64 to all parts of the town including the A171 Scarborough to Whitby Road and the A165 Scarborough to Filey Road (which is the closest main approach to the house)

Scarborough has its own railway station with most journeys arriving via York (or Middlesbrough). The house is only a 5-10 minute walk from the station
