    Alton House is only a 5 minute walk from the town centre where you will find many of Buxton's famous attractions. Enjoy a stroll around the beautiful Pavilion Gardens. Sample the delights on offer at the wide selection of boutique shops; independent cafes, pubs and restaurants. Afterwards why not take in a show at the magnificent Buxton Opera House hosting an array of comedy, musicals, drama and opera.

We stayed here while we explored the south of the peak district. The flat was clean, spacious and well equipped with everything we needed. There are supermarkets nearby and lots of bus services. This tastefully furnished flat was very comfortable, warm, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. It was ideally located in a quiet street within a few minutes walk of Buxton town centre, as well as being convenient for accessing great walks in the area. We would certainly use this flat again and would have no hesitation in recommending it. more
