We visited The Old Millhouse for a week long stay commencing on Good Friday. There were 6 of us in our party, 3 couples. When we arrived at there, we were impressed by the sheer comfort and homeliness of the place. The ktichen looks out onto a small patio area, with a lawned area and a wildlife pond beyond and then onto a paddock area, complete with Flossie the Pony! The bedrooms were well appointed and very comfortable, with the Master being upstairs, off the lovely lounge area with leather armchairs, sofa and a further large, squashy sofa. The log burner is lovely and adds a cosy atmosphere although we did find it a little difficult to regulate the heat.
The kitchen has and Aga and we had fun trying it out as none of us had used one before, but we soon got the hang of it.
The Old Millhouse is ideally placed to visit many of Cornwall's attractions, we visited The Eden project, only a short drive away, St Ives, Mousehole, Mevigissey, Lands End, St Michael's Mount and of course... more
