    Our property is available for weekly bookings and short breaks. Our changeover days are Fridays or Mondays and we charge the same price for Weekend (3 night) and Midweek (4 night) breaks.

    - Weekly (or longer stays) can commence Mondays or Fridays.
    - Weekend breaks are from Friday to Monday and are for 3 nights.
    - Midweek breaks are from Monday to Friday and are for 4 nights.

The owner was very friendly, helpful and quick to respond to any enquiries. The lodge is lovely, very clean, well equipped and based on a peaceful and clean site. 5min walk from Brockhole which has fantastic activities for all the family. We cannot think of one problem during our stay, we have recommended this lodge/site to family members. We would love to go again. more

Wonderful place to stay and would love to go again. The onsite restaurant was closed for 2 nights for private functions but when we did go, the food offered was basic so take own provisions. Pool access is £30 per family per stay, possibly a bit expensive for just a weekend. Definitely worth a visit is Brockhole, 5 minutes walk down the road, offering good facilities for all the family and not overly expensive. We had a lovely meal on the terrace overlooking the lake, adventure play ground and lots of space for children, beautiful gardens. Very central for Windermere and Ambleside. The owners were very friendly and helpful. more
