I had intended to do a detailed review but the reviewer of 7th May has really said it all. Lovely house with very spacious rooms and very well equipped (3 good sized tvs- how rare is that). I did not experience the minor problems mentioned in the previous review, in fact we had absolutely nothing to complain about. My wife always brings her rubber gloves when we holiday to make sure the hygiene areas are OK but were not needed on this occasion. Whole house was immaculate. Big thank you to the owner for helping to make this a great holiday for myself and my wife plus our daughter and our two grandsons (the eldest loved the tv/playroom on the ground floor). more

After coming down for a family visit, I found the house a welcome surprise and at such a reasonable rate too. The extent of the house is wonderful and a beautiful homely kitchen/diner too. I had brought down my own kitchen equipment as I was unsure of what to expect, however there was no need to have done. The facilities were of top quality standard, Panasonic TV and state of the art super quiet Sieman's dishwasher also! My only tiny gripe was that the first floor smelled like someone previously had smoked in the property which bothered me on the first couple of nights, however as soon as I had located the window keys (in the boiler cupboard in the kitchen!) I was able to air out the space. There was also a slight damp smell in the double bedroom ensuite, but I will convey that this would not put me off returning in the future! The property is so close to amenities and the beach as well as being ultra quiet as is set back from the road which is a welcome plus! The toys in the upper... more
