    Holiday Rental House –
    1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 2
The Old Bread Oven is tiny but full of character and charm , set in the grounds of the main house. The property is part of a small hamlet called Le Breuil in the Haute Vienne a department of the Limousin.

The cottage is surrounded by a lovely garden and looks out over the fields in which there are ponies and horses. Within the garden there are plenty of seating areas in both sunny and shady places with a large barbecue for use by quests.

The cottage consists of a small dining sitting area in which the original bread oven is very much a feature of the room. The kitchen and bathroom are also on the ground floor and a steep staircase leads up to 2 rooms on the first floor. These rooms can be made into one double with dressing room or 2 single rooms.

This property would suit a singl...

If you are coming with your own vehicle from one of the Ferry ports or the tunnel it is a good day's journey and should get you here late afternoon. Your sat Navigation if you have one should bring you directly to the property if you put in Le Breuil in as the street, and Cheronnac as the city.

We stayed here whilst looking for a house to purchase in the area. It is a beautiful area and The Bread Oven is set in lovely gardens. We thought the hosts were wonderful. We were definitely made to feel welcome and if we had any queries Tony and Sue were more than happy to answer them.

The Bread Oven is small but has lots of character and quirky features and we were happy to stay there. The beds were comfortable and there was always hot water.

If you are looking for clean lines and minimalism I would suggest you look elsewhere! If you are looking for original stonework and other features then this could well be what you are looking for.

If you do stay here you will be fondly greeted by they owners as well as the cats and dogs who live here too. I am wary of dogs I don't know but the three at this property are friendly as are the cats that we met. There are also horses at this property who you will occasionally see wandering down the lane by your...
