The villa has everything you could wish for when it comes to comfort, relaxation - and beauty. The view of the surrounding hills is stunning.
All of us, including eight-week-old Molly, enjoyed every second of our stay. Although we were seven grown-ups there was space enough for everybody, thanks to the house being so big and well planned.
Some of us started our day with a brisk early-morning walk up the steep hill to the village and the road out towards Poggio San Marcello. Before going back we took turns to visit the local baker’s, Il piccolo forno, and purchase our daily bread.
After a swim in the lovely pool – it is 15 metres long and allows you to stretch out in good strokes – and a long breakfast out in the pergola we spent a few hours basking in the sun, planning our day.
There are so many nice places to visit – the beach in Sirolo is a must, the caves in Frassasi well worth a visit, all the surrounding villages equally charming and vineyards just round the... more
