The apartment is located in part of an old building that has recently been attractively renovated. It is on the second floor with a fine elevator. Luigi and his daughter, Gloria, were most attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment was immaculate and is very modern and well equipped and within a short walking distance to shops, cafes, grocery stores and the castle. It has the same problem as many similar apartments in that part of Italy—very unpredictable electricity. We made the mistake of turning on the stove and oven at the same time and the electricity in the apartment went out. We did find the fuse box and all was well.
The experience would have been easier if they had taken PayPal or credit card. As it was we had to bring cash for the week's stay.
