    Designed on the lines of an artist's studio, the apartment combines tradition and modernity. From its magnificent balcony the unique will immerse you in the atmosphere of the Middle Ages! On the second floor there is a bright living-room and a vintage-style kitchen on the cathedral side. On the floor above you will find a bedroom with two single beds which can be put together on request and an elegant bathroom with Italian-style shower.

The apartment is in a wonderful location, in the centre of beautiful Sarlat but overlooking a quiet square on one side and the cathedral on the other. The kitchen area has been designed to look good but is completely impractical! The front panel was missing from the dishwasher so it was a lethal weapon, the sink is so high that you really need to be 6 feet tall to use it, the fridge door opens the wrong way and there is a shortage of utensils. - No knife for slicing! Also, the key to the communal door didn't work so you'd better remember the number code or you'll be locked out! more

Nous avons bien apprécié notre séjour au Balconnet, l'appartement est idéalement situé et bien aménagé, les problèmes vécus par l'internaute qui a fait la première critique sont toujours persistants 1 an plus tard, la clef en bas ne fonctionne toujours pas, nous avons dû appeler au bureau des loueurs pour avoir le code de la porte. Nous aurions aimé le savoir avant plutôt que de jouer avec la clef dans le trou de la serrure pendant 10 minutes. Il n'y a toujours pas de porte au lave-vaisselle, donc impossible de l'utiliser. Le ménage est approximatif , on a dû relaver la vaisselle et la porte du frigo ouvre toujours du mauvais côté. Beaucoup de poussière sur les lampes. Malgré ces inconvénients nous y retournerions volontiers car la situation de l'appartement est vraiment idéale. Déconseillé si vous n'aimez pas les escaliers.
