    4 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 10
A Georgian country house, located in a tranquil rural setting within walking distance from the village of St Merryn and a short drive from the famous Seven Bays of the North Cornwall Coast. The house is a great base for fabulous coastal walks and enjoying nearby beaches (Constantine, Harlyn, Trevose, Porthcothan, etc). It's ten minutes drive from Padstow with its harbor, restaurants and shops and a walk away from Rick Stein's Cornish Arms pub.
Lower Trevorgus has a 4 star rating from Visit England and we are proud of the fact that 100% of our guests say that they would recommend it to their friends.
The house is tastefully decorated, furnished to a high standard throughout and guests often comment on how comfortable it is - 'a real home from home'. To welcome you to the...

5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Stayed in the large house myself partner and ''2yr'' daughter. It was lovely and clean and very well equipped. A lot of care has gone in to restoring and keeping as many of the original features as possible. I personally loved how the over sized original floor boards creaked. The kitchen was a central part to the house and spent a lot of time in there having large seating areas. It had everything possible you could of needed. The bedrooms were spacey and light with some very nice quirky furniture. The back garden is shared and we were lucky to have amazing friendly families twice. Plenty of space outside and BBQ. If i had to have a tiny niggle about the back door area it would be to have a tiny gate at the end of the patio area above the steps to stop the ducks getting on as they left a lot of mess every where and right outside the back door and was forever cleaning it before we could eat out there or let our daughter out. Other than that the ducks were lovely. The house is a... more

Management response:

We really appreciate feedback about the house and cottage. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay. The character and history of the house is one of the reasons we love it. We try to keep the quirky, interesting feel of an old house but to make it as comfortable and well-equipped as possible. We have had sheep in... more

4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We stayed at the house for 10 days. The party consisted of all grown ups although the house caters very well for young children.
It was comfortable - the beds were great, the bedding was fab, the furnishings were excellent. The towels were good.
The garden was very tranquil - set back from any roads, it over looks farmers fields.
Bedding and sofa's are feathered but top quality so more down than feather.
The kitchen was well stocked with every piece of equipment you could possible need.
The games room was very good fun for us grown ups.
We didn't want to leave.
The owner is very reactive and she has thought of everything.
Ideal location:
Taxi cost £7 to Padstow harbor
The local shops and pubs are walking distance.
