    The cottage was formerly a bakery in the late 1800s with some of the original features maintained and is arranged over 3 floors with 2 bedrooms, twin bedroom on the middle floor and a double bedroom on the top floor with a single futon if needed. There is a TV lounge with sofa bed, kitchen and dining room on the ground floor with french doors from the dining room leading onto a private courtyard garden with sea views. There is excellent local transport which runs regularly to Weymouth, Dorchester and the surrounding areas. Linen and towels provided.
    Check in is usually after 3.00pm and check out 10.30a.m. These times sometimes can be flexible on request.

The house was easy to find with parking right outside. The interior was spotless with tasteful paintings. The bed I slept in was more comfortable than my own bed! The cottage is spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable, the large kitchen is well equipt and we had lovely evenings eating in the dining room and taking our wine out through the french windows to sit in the quaint little garden. Quaint modernised cottage on very quiet road leading to Portland Bill. The cottage has been tastefully modernised. We all agreed the photos do not do justice to the cottage.
