    Property description
    Holiday Rental House –
    2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 6
The coach house was built in 1834 to serve the local chateau, of which a tower remains. It then became a barn for the local farmer and was converted 20 years ago into two adjoining houses with the original features being retained where possible.

There are two bedrooms and the sitting room could serve as a third bedroom through the introduction of either a sofa bed or two fold up beds.

The coach house sits in 1000m2 of lawned garden, and has a large kitchen diner and sitting room each of which have their own terrace. Together with the tower of the old chateaux, now a family home, and an ancient converted barn opposite, the Coach House forms a secluded compound near the centre of a working village. Our French neighbours in the chateaux and barn speak excellent English and have small child...

5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 April 2012 for a stay in August 2011

We liked the simplicity of this house and found it comfortable, clean, well furnished and the layout convenient. We really liked the large windows making it very light and bright inside and connecting with the large garden where we ate most of the time. We used the excellent village shops for fresh produce. We were surprised how much there is... more

We had a lovely stay and were delighted to discover this area, there is so much to do and see in this part of Normandy. We enjoyed the beaches and the charming town of Dieppe as well as discovering that the area is filled with history, WW2 history as well as several Chateaux from different ages within easy cycling distance... more

4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 February 2012 for a stay in April 2010

We stayed in April, which is famously showery in Normandy. However the April showers in no way affected our fantastic cycling holiday.
