Morzine is situated in the centre of the Portes du Soleil region of the French Savoie Alps, half way between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, astride the French-Swiss border.

The Retreat is just 4 minutes away from Morzine town centre. Morzine is a typical Savoyard mountain town with a lovely combination of markets, bars, cafes and of course, a range of great contemporary and traditional restaurants.

As well as all the fantastic activities that are on offer locally (see ‘Activities’ section), there is also a wide choice of popular day trips. We have a detailed knowledge of Morzine and the surrounding area and will be happy to help you plan your day.

Morzine is an excellent base from which to explore the Haute-Savoie region of France and the Valais region of Switzerland. Lake Geneva is only 30 minutes away.
