    Mayberry is an elegantly restored quarry workers cottage with many original features, flagstone floors, exposed stone and beams and the original spiral stairs. Modern comforts include underfloor heating and WiFi throughout.

    The oak framed games room, complete with pool table and full sized table tennis table offers endless opportunity for family fun.

    Set in 2 acres of land the enclosed garden offers a wonderful opportunity to dine al fresco and take in those stunning views.

    Mayberry is a beautiful and luxurious holiday cottage, standing in 2 acres of land. It is typified by traditional flagstone floors, oak beams and a crackling open fire, with underfloor heating to make any winter snug. The internal finish includes a hand made kitchen and extra touches that make it 5 star. Particular features include:

    The Lounge –the oldest part of the house with a flagstone floor, original open fireplace and breadoven, exposed beams and a very cosy “feel”.

    Kitchen/diner–a superb hand made and comprehensively equipped kitchen with Rangemaster cooker and oak worktop, make this room a focus for families and groups alike to get together.

What an amazing cottage in an amazing spot. We were so lucky with the weather we enjoyed some really good walks up the mountains. The cottage had everything we needed. Our two young children loved the games room and running about in the garden. A truly great holiday. Cant wait to come back. Thank You. more

Mayberry cottage was a fantastic house for eight friends to come together to celebrate a birthday, walk the surrounding hills and gather for a good natter and catchup by the fire (slightly unnecessary in May, but it had to be done). Well, where to start, this cottage is beautiful and offers something for everyone. This turned out to be the perfect plays for our first family holiday with our 5 month old son.
