We received a warm welcome to Miss Anna's Cottage, which was bigger and even nicer than we had expected. Lovely welcoming touches included homemade jam and marmalade, a loaf of rustic bread, and locally made (delicious) ice cream in the freezer. Everything was spotless and comfortable, with nothing forgotten, from spare toothbrushes if we needed them, to garden/barbecue furniture, hot water bottles (definitely not needed on this trip!) - all the comforts of home. The location is ideal to explore the beautiful north coast of Northern Ireland, from Derry, past the Giant's Causeway, and all the wonderful beaches and interesting places to visit.
We had to arrive on a Tuesday: the Holiday Lettings site would only let us book from a Saturday. The owner of Miss Anna's Cottage went out of his way to sort this out for us. He also gave us additional landmarks to look out for on the journey which helped us find the cottage with no problems.
