We booked a weeks vacation for a well deserved rest and got exactly that. The bungalow is spacious and comfortable with a newly fitted fully tiled bathroom and a kitchen with everything you would need for a family, even a washing machine and dryer. The living area has a wood burning stove, perfect for the cool October evenings, Good quality comfortable beds and sofa's and everywhere spotlessly clean.
The park is in a secluded hollow, even though open plan the bungalows are surrounded by mature large trees, lots of birds and wildlife to watch.
We took our two elderly dogs who loved their holiday as well - dogs must be kept on a lead in the park itself but there is a purpose made dog area where they can be let off the lead to have a run about,
We were spoilt for choice as far as pubs and restaurants were concerned, most within 10/15 minutes drive with delicious home cooked meals at reasonable prices and most were dog friendly. It is also a good base to for days out to... more
