We stayed 2 adults and 3 children in Le Pichouline one week in July, but was very disappointed. As we payed 1400 Euro for the week, we had expected a nice clean place. Unfortunately there were big flying ants all over the place, including in the beds - not very nice. The owner told us living with a lot of ants was a part of living in Provence. However, we have been in Provence several times before, and have never experienced anything like this.
The cottage was not very clean, and didn't smell very well - especially the bathroom upstairs had a very bad smell.
The cottage is placed on a large ground, with very tall trees. It looks nice, but there are no sunny places near the cottage.
From the cottage you have to walk about 5 minutes to the swimming pool. The pool is ok.
The area around Salernes however, is very nice. more
