Kenmare is the perfect place to spend xmas and the new year, the Irish know how to celebrate and they love their roots and culture and rightly so. This was my 10th trip to Ireland and my first stay at Millfield House. The home was large, spotless and comfortable. The welcome was exceptional: hot kettle of tea, homemade brown bread, fresh brown eggs, decadent chocolate cake and a bottle of wine. The owner supplied printed details on how to operate everything in the house. She had a large...

Millfield cottage is warm and welcoming, well equipped with all your holiday needs (and more) The pretty location of Kenmare is ideal with a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants just a short stroll from the cottage. It is also a good central location for touring the beautiful South West of Ireland.

Book from September 2011 to April 2012 and receive farm fresh eggs, homemade soda bread, bottle of wine with chocolates, cake and 2 baskets of wood/turf as part of the welcome pack.
