Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.
Holiday rental reviews collected via the VRBO website (formerly Homeaway) and syndicated to the Tripadvisor website are not currently subject to Tripadvisor’s standard moderation processes.

A fantastic place to stay
Can’t recommend Copper Beech Farm enough, we had a fantastic stay there. Michael and Eileen are very accommodating and great with children, allowing them to help with the chickens and watch the cows being milked. The accommodation is very clean and spacious with a very well equipped kitchen, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The views across the countryside are stunning. We will definitely be back again, this place is a real gem.

Holiday
Recently stayed with my family here ,seemed like a nice area ,house was clean but on closer inspection living area was full of flies and rarely ate in the house because of them,it's not children friendly no where for them to play and it's not suitable for kids as its right in the middle of a farm and there is people living in close proximity to the house which is very uncomfortable as you feel your being watched all the time as previously stated in a review the neighbours seem to take issue with familys with young children on their holidays, there was no explanation as to what bins to use for rubbish either,if your wanting to stay near kinsale I wouldn't recommend here as to far away and secondly the way we were treated was a disgrace.

Very pleasant stay
We enjoyed a very pleasant stay in this holiday home located in a peaceful rural setting. It was well-equipped, clean and comfortable and featured a south-facing balcony overlooking the wonderful local countryside. Although located in the countryside, Cork city and Kinsale are within easy reach. The owners were very welcoming and were always available to answer queries we had.

Great touring location with super accommodation
Very homely and comfortable home from home. Well provisioned with all you could need. Clean and spacious rooms. Friendly welcome when we arrived with scones and jam waiting. It is on a working farm, so could be great with kids.. as long as you are prepared for farm life..

A well equipped cottage in beautiful County Cork
It was our first trip to Ireland but we plan to return. The cottage was well equipped for our group of two couples. The two ensuite bedrooms suited us well and although we would prefer a larger bed the standard double in our room was comfortable and the east facing window enabled us to enjoy being wakened by the sun. The cooker, dishwasher and washer all worked well and the weather was kind allowing washing to dry in the sun but there was a dryer if we had needed it. The open plan living room led out to a decked terrace from where we enjoyed extensive country views and the added bonus of watching a family of foxes each evening (I do realise that they are no bonus for the farmers as they frequently dine on chicken!). We enjoyed fresh milk and eggs from the farm and found it a lovely tranquil base from which to enjoy the stunningly beautiful countryside, interesting small towns and friendliness of all the people with whom we made contact.

Brilliant for families or couples
We are a couple with no children and especially enjoyed the space, the comfortable and well appointed accommodation and the quiet and peaceful location. Those with children would find this setting ideal and we couldn't recommend it more highly. The premises were spotlessly clean and our host friendly and obliging. There was every amenity provided that we would want.

Great family holiday
We spent a very enjoyable few days at the barn. The adjoining dairy farm gave our kids a valuable life experience in sustainable living - our two oldest boys fell into a morning routine of collecting fresh milk from the parlour followed by eggs in the chicken house - Michael and Eileen were very accommodating and our kids were made to feel extremely welcome. Couldn't recommend it more and great base for exploring Cork.

Spacious, Well Equiped
We stayed 4 nights in the barn. It's quite spacious - 2 bedrooms/bathrooms on the ground floor, and the dining/living space on the second floor. It is very comfortable and the kitchen is well equiped. We asked for wi-fi and were able to have it for a minimal fee. There's a washer & dryer - we used both and they worked well as did the dishwasher. It's a very quiet spot in the country and a nice change from city activity. It's an easy drive into Kinsale for dinner if you wish. We did the Ring of Kerry from here and also visited part of the Ring of Beara (strong recommend the visit to Mizen Head lighthouse - great view). Micheal is a very welcoming host.
