4 Foot bed [small double] Really comfy bed and elegant room. Cotton drapes.
Entrance Hall & antique sewing table. Singer Sewing table conversion. Just the business.
Sizeable Entrance Hall, complete with rustic hangers, old step ladder and turf Slain !!
Bathroom. Modern Power Shower, bath / tub totally relaxing and private.
Oak Tree, Stile to fresh water river stocked with fish, trout , salmon .....

Overview. 'Cuach Cottage' [ Cuckoo Cottage ] is located in the heart of Connemara, County Galway, 4 Kilometers from the renowned town of Clifden. Cuach stands on 4 acres of natural terrain, moorland and is located on the ' Bog Road '. We are right in the centre of a Specially Protected Area. Home of the fox, badger, otter,cormorant. Rare flora and fauna can be identified here. NB Cuckoo, ' Cuach ' arrives in April enjoy his song!
The home is approached by a 100 mtr. driveway, leading to a classic country style 1/2 door. No chickens though, just sheep and Connemara ponies alongside. There is ample parking space. Like fresh water fishing....

We just returned from 5 nights at the cottage. What a beautiful cozy place Liam and Marian have created! We loved the location. It was close to Clifden which is an adorable village with shopping and some great restaurants, yet out in the beautiful wild Connemara countryside with views to die for. Liam and Marian were wonderful with the booking...

Cuach Cottage was all we had hoped it would be. The cottage is charming and comfortable, close enough to Clifden to be very accessible yet also providing a sense of privacy and "home".
