Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights (could only book 1 week but we left early as we had to drive up north for a wedding). The Cottage was warm and comfy. There are two large double bedooms (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs) and a single bedroom upstairs. We preferred to sleep in the upstairs double, beds were v comfy. Very private, we were not overlooked by anyone and just heard the sound of the birds.
The garden was quite overgrown and wild but we did not mind, we sat in the sun on the patio overlooking the garden and hills in distance. Luckily we had lovely weather, however there is a fire if you need it. Kitchen was not overly equipped but had everything we needed to make breakfast and the odd meal, pans, plates, cutlery etc (we sometimes ate in the village)
It was quite difficult to find, it is on an unmarked road, it is opposite the signs for oysterbed pier on the way in to Sneem, it just has some tyre tracks going up it. We loved Sneem, small colourful... more
