We just returned from a two week stay at this lovely house in Oranmore. It was such a great location....close to Galway, but a peaceful country setting. There is a water view out the front, and beyond the large backyard are rolling pastures with mountains on the horizon. The house is spacious and immaculately clean, with plenty of room for 6 adults to be comfortable. There was nothing we lacked for amenities. The caretaker, Margaret, was a pleasure to meet and work with when we had questions.

Oranmore is a very short drive for groceries, restaurants, pubs, but don't miss the local store just a minute from the house, Grealy's shop. Wonderful baked products each morning, a small deli, some prepared foods, and general convenience items. You NEED to try the scones!

The area is lovely to walk, and there is a great park nearby. A car is necessary as there are not many shops/restaurants or public transportation within walking distance. Galway is a quick 15...

Highly recommend.
Comfortable, clean and spacious.
We stayed for 10 days (late October) and we so wished we could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful, the location is off the beaten path but still centrally located, and the views are breath taking. Esther was very gracious in accommodating my elderly father with some special requests. Those items were there waiting for us when we arrived along with fresh flowers. The house is new and well cared for, it’s warm with upgraded amenities. The shower in the master bath is amazing. It was convenient to have three bathrooms, washer and dryer and of course the wi-fi.
