    Tigh Ban Lek is an imaginatively conceived and individually designed purpose-built house in distinctive Swiss Chalet style, having been built from stone and substantial natural timbers.

    The design award winning house was built in the late 1990s and has been carefully incorporated into the hillside and oriented entirely to maximise on the island views and seascapes extending over 30 miles to the south and west. This is an extremely comfortable, spacious and sophisticated holiday home.

    Accommodation is laid out over two floors: an entrance vestibule leads to the reception hall and onto ground floor accommodation of two bedrooms.     All kitchen equipment is supplied and includes plastic plates, bowls, cups, cutlery for children, plastic bibs; garden dining plates and glasses.

    Also one of the en-suites has a Jacuzzi bath. First Aid kit also provided

    Additional Rate and Availability Information
    Our two person discount gives parties of two individuals a 5% discount in our cottage during off peak periods. This is subject to availability and applies to bookings with a minimum 7 night stay between 1st October and 31st May (excluding October & February half terms, Christmas, New Year, Easter and May Bank holidays)
    There is also a 5% discount on multiple week bookings available year round.
    Preferred payment method is bank transfer although cheque and credit & debit card via paypal is also accepted.

This is an absolute gem on Scotland's west coast. We know it from 2 visits in winter, when eyerything is soo calm. As you can see from the website the draw is the view. Thank you very much for your review, much appreciated. It is true that in early January many local restaurants do close down for a period of time. We haven't had any other requests for an espresso machine as yet but if we get enough requests we will consider the addition. more

Tigh Ban Lek was a beautiful, relaxing stopover during our long European holiday, situated about a half hour’s drive from Oban with stunning views over Loch Melfort.
