We arrived at sunset on the Saturday evening to the owners Vernon and Gina waiting for us with a chilled bottle of superb Rose. We we're showed around the gite and given tips on the local area, finding ourselves 2 hours later onto a second/third bottle with V'n'G in the garden, after a long drive this was testament to V'n'G's kind, accommodating and hilarious hosting.
Then to bed, which sits under a vaulted ceiling and beautiful giant oak beams. A double door close to bed leads straight out into the garden allowing incredible lie ins when open.
We enjoyed all our dinners in the front porch room, which is perfectly orientated to catch sunset, with windows allowing a refreshing breeze. On the evenings where the weather was less pleasant, the log fire was very welcome indeed.
Our dog Milo could not have been more welcome, and he was appreciative of the food and water bowls ready and waiting. The garden was secure And private so he could roam solo.
