Situated in Albunuelas, this lovely house has superb views looking down the lecrin valley either from the roof terrace or from the living area with its floor to ceiling balcony. The house is situated in the lower barrio which has beautiful but steep little roads down to the house. The house itself gives a real rustic feel both in terms of colour and furniture and has all the basic stuff required for north Europeans who want to get a feel of an area untouched by modern life. The village has some basic facilities (bank, bread shop, a couple of ‘corner shop’ supermarkets and a bar that serves good but basic food). However, being in a working agricultural village you will hear the typical early noises of donkeys and dogs. In terms of location, this is an excellent spot both locally (the GR7 walk is just below the house and you can explore the valley from this) or to visit Granada (30 mins by car) or the coast (40 mins).
