Visited Villa Aurora in May 2013, traveling with my husband, 2 year old daughter, parents and brother and sister in law. We were looking for a relaxing, beachfront location that would accommodate a family that likes to do pretty much everything together - but also with our small child. Villa Aurora met our expectations, and in many areas, exceeded them.
I'll go through our experience at Villa Aurora chronologically.
My mom booked the reservation months in advance, and received an email from the property owner asking if we needed assistance with booking fishing trips, snorkeling, etc., or if we had any questions. She repeatedly sent several questions over and never got a response until she called the owner directly. He then had the property manager call us from Belize, who promptly made the same exact offers, and never called us back. Ever. And he stopped answering emails.
