Description:
The Green Parrot Beach Houses is located in southern Belize on the Placencia peninsula. We are situated in Maya Beach, which is about 7 miles north of the village of Placencia.

The resort has a total of 8 cabanas. Two have thatched roofs and will accommodate 2 adults. Six of our units are two story beach houses that will accommodate up to 4 or 5 (depending on ages). All units rent for the same price and all are on the best white sand beach in Belize.

From your private cabana it is only a few steps to the Green Parrot Restaurant and Bar. We serve 3 meals a day from a menu that changes daily, based on what is fresh and available. We also serve Belikin Beer on Tap! You will also find that we have a small but up to date reading library with games for our guests. Try out one of our kayaks - right from the Green Parrot dock.

We can assist you in your trip planning - which will include both land and water based tours, since we are on a peninsula. We can set you up for snorkeling, diving and fishing or if you want to do land based travel we can get you to Mayan ruins, jungles and horseback riding.

The resort has been owned and operated by the same management for 10 years - unlike many of the resorts that seem to change hands yearly. So we know the best place for you to visit based on our long years of experience in Belize.

The Green Parrot specializes in weddings and family events, where the group can rent the entire resort for their private event.

Whether your group is large or small we will take good care of you and will have you wanting to return on a regular basis.
