    2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 6
Ala Ala Villa is a unique blend of traditional southeast Asian architecture but features all of the modern conveniences. The cathedral style roof incorporates bamboo beams covered with a special waterproof grass called "cogon". The result is not only stunning to look at, but also practical in that it keeps the villa cool all year round. Air conditioning is not needed as the villa is cooled by the trade winds that blow in from the Sulu Sea.

By choosing to stay in Ala Ala, you will have the opportunity to experience Boracay like few others get to. Nestled in a private compound above Diniwid Beach, Ala Ala offers guests privacy and seclusion in stunning natural surroundings. In the Pulang Lupa compound, we have elected to live more in harmony with the beautiful natural e...

    Additional Location Information
Ala Ala Villa is located in the tranquil compound of Pulang Lupa, which is located at the northern part of Boracay Island. The secluded Diniwid Beach is a short 5 minute walk from the villa.

Boracay Island is located at the northern tip of the bigger island of Panay in the Visayas region. Until the 1970's, the island remained unknown to most outside of the Visayas region. In the '70's it was "discovered" by hippies who added it to their worldwide travel network. Gradually, the island became more known to the outside world because of it's incredible white-sand beach stretching for more than 4 kilometers. As a vacation destination, Boracay, really became popular only about 5 years ago.

The island is easy to get around, since it is only 7 kilometers long and 1 kilometer at its widest point. There are only three small villages on the island. These "barangays" are Yapac, Balabag, and Manoc-Manoc. Before tourism, the major occupation was...
