We stayed for 10 nights in this apartment from early July 2013. The apartment is very well appointed and the air conditioning in the bedroom was a godsend. It does not mention on the website but there is a safe in the apartment. The owners housekeeper met us at the Ploce gate and took us to the property. I was a little concerned as we were requested to pay in cash (quite common for Dubrovnik properties) when we arrived but no problems and the lady dropped a receipt in later. The flat was cleaned every two days and new towels provided. As the previous contributor has said this flat is very noisy with both the street cleaners banging about at 6.00 each morning. In addition there are two restaurants just underneath the windows and the Libertine bar very close. We survived but if you are susceptible to this sort of thing think again , we thought it was the price you pay for being in the heart of the Old Town. The apartment was let to us as the Laurel not Laurus.
