We arrived at 10.00 on Saturday morning, our bags were first on the carousel. We were met, as promised, by the apartment owner. The trip to the apartment was supported by interesting facts and tips of what to do, where to go and how to get there.
The apartment was clean, well equipped and had a lovely view of the marina. The marina was a 5 minute walk; has a great fish restaurant and an even better grill; I recommend the lamb under the bell, a local meal;
By 11.00 we were at the apartment and by 12.30 we had eaten a quick lunch and was on a beach that had crystal clear sea, excellent sun beds and parasol (105 Kuna for 2 plus parasol per day). We spent 6 from 7 days on the beach.
The promenade down to the beach is full of restaurants; cafes and ice cream parlours; there are lots of friendly folk offering trips to the three islands and beyond.
The lovely city of Dubrovnik is only 15 minutes away on the number 6 bus which costs 240 Krona return; buses... more
