The Guraidhoo Corner guesthouse offers limited options, so you feel trapped and sometimes have to pay resort prices for non-resort service.
The Guesthouse: the Guraidhoo Corner is small with only 4 rooms. It offers the basic amenities and is most importantly clean. The management changed recently and the new management's inexperience is evident. However they are eager to please and this makes up for their shortcomings.
Their eagerness to please can be quite uncomfortable at times. On the first night, two groups of owners came to check on the place, standing over us and watching us as we had our dinner. It wasn't pleasant at all so we quickly gobbled our food and retired to our rooms.
The management was at first quite pushy about us eating in the guest house, but when we insisted on eating elsewhere, they did not bother us anymore.
