Don't be put off by the main building with its entrance at the back and dusty staircase! The flat itself is beautifully clean, well-furnished in a modern style, fully equipped and only about 100 yards from Sokol Metro station with its excellent network service into and around Moscow. The 24-hour supermarket was even nearer, just round the corner, with everything you needed. Denis speaks excellent English and was very helpful. We felt relaxed and comfortable in the flat and appreciated the wifi.
Yes, if you are not used to traffic, it may take some time to get used to the busy road outside - but from what we saw this would be the same problem throughout the city.
Would definitely recommend the flat, especially considering the high cost of hotels, though you will have to get a tourist invitation voucher from somewhere like the Russian Tourist Office before you can get a visa - expensive at £115 including visa, but a simple procedure in the end. more
